Description

We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, United States. This role primarily focuses on accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management. The selected candidate will be working in an onsite environment and will be contributing to various aspects of the company's financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy

• Manage and maintain the general ledger

• Prepare 1040s (personal returns) and occasionally fiduciary/trust returns

• Utilize financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks

• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information for financial processing

• Work closely with the company's partners and other tax professionals in the office

• Participate in the month-end close process, including journal entries

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on their status.

Requirements • Possess proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Demonstrated ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger management

• Experience with Journal Entries preparation

• Capable of handling Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge of NetSuite software is preferred

• Proficiency in Oracle software is advantageous

• Experience with QuickBooks is highly desirable

• Familiarity with SAP software is a plus
