What youll do

Position Title:SAP iXp Intern - Business and Enterprise Architecture Advisor

Location:Newtown Square, PA

Expected Start Date: October 2024

Contract Duration: 12 months

Work Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

The global team oversees designing and rolling out the evolution of Architecture Practices in Customer Advisory, to seize the opportunities and cope with the challenges of selling, and support customers to adopt and consume business applications organized in well-designed business & IT architectures, following a transformational roadmap. The team will design and set the standards for the Architects evolution in SAP in the future.

The candidate will work with the Global Head of Architects and his seasoned team members, and with main stakeholders within Sales, Product Development, Technology and Innovation, and SAP Services leaders across Global and Regional organizations, to design and execute the transformational architectural initiatives around:

  • Business and Enterprise Architects Methodology and tools

  • Artifacts and Deliverable standardizations

  • Scaling practices

  • Project Management

  • Customer lifecycle value delivery to Customers across the whole lifecycle

  • Reporting and performance management

  • Community development within SAP employees and with SAP Customers with Enterprise Architecture

  • Training and enablement

  • Career plan design, rewarding and recognition programs

The candidate will contribute with the support of seasoned experts and over time independently in the following tasks and deliverables developments:

  • Analyze Architects performances, services and practices within the CA operational models and identify areas of improvements and related actions to put in execution the required transformational initiatives

  • Co-own defined transformational initiatives, according to the SAP global strategy; drive transformation and business results and feel accountable for the expected outcomes

  • In collaboration with the Head of Global Architect team and his leadership team, ensure alignment on the programs objectives and execution with all regional and MU leaders

  • Investigate and design high-efficiency and impactful Low/no-touch model to exploit the digital modality to interact with our customers

  • Bring in a new perspective into the team

  • Contribute to design and deliver standardized architectural assets to drive more efficiency and reusability

What you bring

  • Masters in Computer Science, Electronics Engineer or IT/Business Management

  • Team working

  • Preliminary/good understanding of IT architectures

  • Ability to serve responsibilities as single POC

  • Relationship-driven mindset

Compensation Range Transparency : SAPbelieves the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAPs commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 19-40 USD.The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidatewill be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills,experience, scope ofthe role, location, etc. as determinedthrough theselection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
