Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 1 to join our food service team for new business at White Horse Village in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania . This premier continuing care retirement community is located in the countryside of southeastern Pennsylvania and provides residents a new standard in retirement living with abundant amenities, exceptional wellness programs, delicious food, and excellent facilities. We are seeking a talented individual who has strong hospitality, front of house skills with experience in training and mentoring front of house staff. A background in country club / fine dining environment is desired.

The successful candidate will:

• have oversight of day-to-day front of house operations for 3 restaurants, a pub and catering;

• successfully coordinate all required tasks through supervisors and frontline staff;

• deliver high quality food services including retail, catering and resident dining operations;

• achieve company and client financial targets and goals;

• develop and maintain client and customer relationships (i.e., comfortable in c-suite settings where communication skills are imperative when serving as top level site management);

• ensure Sodexo standards are met.

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degreeor equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
