We are looking for a motivated individual with a growth mindset to become a key member of our team, working on a variety of cloud infrastructure governance topics.

• Engineer and successfully develop prototypes or proof of concepts.

• Conduct comprehensive technical research on scope defined by leadership.

• Develop high-performing data pipelines to ingest large volumes of data effectively from internal and/or external data sources

• Leverage various SAP applications to enhance and streamline data integration scenarios

• Produce predictive data analysis using real-time or historical data from a variety of internal and/or external data sources to generate recommendations for leadership.

• Participate in driving strategic development and contribute to highly confidential projects.

• Assist in automating o]infrastructure deployments where required.

What you bring:

Skills & qualifications:

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a degree in a technology field, or equivalent proven knowledge and proficiency is required.

• Languages: Business-level English (written and spoken) is a prerequisite, German language proficiency is a plus but not mandatory.

• Knowledge of

• DevOps methodologies and discipline (CI/CD process)

• Public Cloud platforms:

• Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google GCP (as well as traditional private hosting). Cloud certifications are a strong plus.

• Programming and Data Analysis languages or software:

• Python, Stata, Java, Racket, R, C, JavaScript, Excel, HTML/CSS

• Data Visualization solutions:

• SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, others

• Database Management:

• SQL, SAP Datasphere, SAP Data Intelligence, SAP HANA Database

• Entrepreneurial spirit with willingness to work under pressure, in critical situations and under tight deadlines.

• Strong analytical, problem solving, planning, and communication skills.

Work experience:

• 1-2 years of development or IT technical background in various contexts, such assoftware or product development, solution implementation, or infrastructure programs.

• Strong track record of delivering results in complex environments and driving decisions with stakeholders support.

• Excellent C-Suite level communication skills to secure buy-in via active involvement and objective decision making.

Meet your team:

Our team is part of the Global Cloud Infrastructure and Delivery (GCID) unit in the Customer Services & Delivery (CS&D) board area. GCID oversees all of SAPs cloud infrastructure (public and private) and is responsible for driving and executing our infrastructure strategy in coordination with cloud delivery cohesion. Within this context, our team is responsible for ensuring effective infrastructure governance of the SAP cloud margin by enabling strategic decision-making on cloud delivery and establishing end-to-end transparency and governance of strategy execution.

This group of exceptionally talented and dedicated individuals supports ad-hoc executive projects, board sponsored/requested initiatives, and cross-GCID alignment on technical initiatives (i.e. taskforces)as well as ongoing responsibilities, including the shaping and adhering to a GCID strategy across all relevant governance and decision-making bodies. Identifying and overcoming business critical challenges & celebrating success together is at the heart of everything we do.

Compensation Range Transparency : SAPbelieves the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAPs commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $82,400 - $180,100 (USD) USD.The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidatewill be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills,experience, scope ofthe role, location, etc. as determinedthrough theselection process.
