Minimum requirements for the position are: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Technology, Data Science, Information Technology, Information Design and Technology, Information Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Informatics, Radiophysics, Electronics, Cyber Security, or closely related discipline; plus 5 years of employment experience in the job offered (Chief Software Engineer), Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, Software Developer, Testing Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Application Support Engineer, Computer Programmer, IT Developer, Technical Lead, or closely related occupation.

Will work at various long-term unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.

Duties:

• Create software programs and customize existing programs utilizing specific programming languages, frameworks, and development environments.
• Lead the process of gathering requirements, their analysis, estimating, planning, implementation, delivering, and maintenance of enterprise level application software products.
• Analyze effort estimation and resources allocation.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor computer programs including coordinating the installation of computer programs.
• Take technical responsibility for a subsystem or a whole project overseeing the development of general system designs and playing a senior project role.
• Utilize different software development methodologies, processes, techniques, and quality planning methods in all phases of work.
