Make a difference in the lives of patients:

As aDental Assistant, you will work with several dentists and dental hygienists and provide chair-side skills, observe, and apply infection control and laboratory protocols, and assist with basic principles of taking x-rays.

• Sterilize dental instruments in adherence to all licensing and accreditation protocols
• Prepare room and instruments for the anticipated/scheduled dental procedures.
• Prepare radiographs for viewing/diagnosis by Dentist.
• Assist Dentist with instruments and tasks at chair side.
• Assure operating methods and materials in the Dental Area are following OSHAs blood borne pathogens and hazardous material standards.
• Assist hygienists when needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to obtain radiology certification within required time frame
• Strong interest in the dental field,
• Customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds
