WorkSource Oregon Community Manager in Newport, Oregon

The Community Manager oversees the daily operations, financial performance, and physical upkeep of employers property, a tax credit property in Newport, OR. This role includes leasing, compliance, maintenance coordination, and ensuring staff adherence to company policies. The manager will also foster positive relations among tenants, staff, and the local community, upholding Cascade Management\'s Service Model. REQUIREMENTS: -Strong organizational and leadership skills. -Knowledge of HUD/RD or Tax Credit property management. -Familiarity with landlord/tenant laws and regulatory compliance. -Ability to manage budgets, accounts receivable, and vendor relations. -Must pass background and drug test. -Driving is required for this position. PREFERENCES: -Previous experience in property management or related fields. -Proficiency in compliance and reporting processes. DUTIES: -Implement strategies to enhance property value and ensure financial success. -Manage rent collections, notices, and resident evictions. -Oversee daily property inspections, ensuring cleanliness and hazard-free conditions. -Coordinate maintenance and vendor activities to ensure quality performance. -Handle resident relations and maintain organized records for all tenants. -Train and manage property staff under Portfolio Manager guidance. -Prepare for property inspections and submit timely reports. HOURS: -Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours per week). PAY: -\$18.00- \$31.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications. -Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, 11 paid holidays, and life insurance.
