Job Title: Rigger

Job Description

As a Rigger, you will be responsible for loading and unloading cargo on and off ships, working with chain falls, pulleys, and winches. You will also perform repairs on these tools to ensure their optimal functioning.

Hard Skills

  • Experience with rigging equipment such as chain falls, pulleys, winches

  • Proficiency in repairs and installations of pulleys, winches, and chain falls

Soft Skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong problem-solving skills

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Norfolk, Virginia.

Work Environment

This role is based in a dynamic shipyard setting, which is outdoors. You will be working at various locations including BAE, NOB, or MHI.
