We are seeking candidates for the position of Financial Analyst I!

Your Impact

Reviews and analyzes financial results of business activities. Completes various forecasts and/or budgets for organization.

  • Provides analytical and reporting support for annual operations, financial reporting, monthly departmental reports, spending variances, saving plans, and/or budget.

  • Reviews actual results of financial data against forecasts, and/or budgets. Investigates, documents and resolves variances as necessary.

  • Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports ensuring financial information has been recorded accurately.

  • Gathers, organizes, and documents relevant financial information.

  • Participates in the annual and quarterly planning process by gathering and analyzing historical sales and financial data.

  • Performs revenue/expense analysis, projections, and reports for management.

  • Prepares and reviews budgets and/or forecasts for organization. Examines forecasts/budget estimates for completeness, accuracy and conformance with procedures and regulations.

  • Reviews and analyzes operating budgets in order to monitor trends affecting budget needs. Notifies appropriate personnel of any required changes to budget in order to ensure conformity.

  • Assists with managing large, complex data sets from varying sources for research, data mining, analysis and trend identification.

  • Works with department managers to determine budgetary needs, revisions, etc. Provides advice and assistance for budget preparation. Recommends improvements and/or changes if needed.

  • Coordinates budgetary process ensuring data is reported accurately and timely.

  • Provides periodic reporting on financials and business trends. Conducts financial modeling and ad hoc analysis.

  • Applies Financial principles to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and supporting financial systems.

  • Follows established financial policies and procedures.

About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance and 0-2 years’ experience in finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of Financial and Standard Costing principles required.

  • Cost accounting experience preferred.

  • Experience with Oracle, Hyperion or similar ERP system preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills.

  • High degree of flexibility and adaptability.
