Laundry Attendant – Part Time

Under the direction of the Lead Housekeeper and the Clubhouse Supervisor the Laundry Attendant ensures that Big Canyon’s laundry is processed in the most efficient and timely manner to provide the cleanest finished laundry product possible.

Duties & Expectations

• Check that all equipment in the laundry room is properly functional

• Load the washing machine with towels from multiple departments

• Linens m ust be sorted out between 30 and 45 minutes maximum depending on the linen

• Begin to dry from previous day what was left of tablecloths and napkins

• Iron napkins or tablecloths after dried

• Load dryer with pending items

• Fold finished laundry

• Reload any machine that is empty and commence ironing once again

• Must be able to effectively interact with employees and members

• Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager

Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications

• Must be available to work weekends, evenings, holidays and special events

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds

• Requires standing, walking, and/or bending for long periods throughout the shift

• Possess a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with all departments and members

• Previous laundry experience a plus
