Job Description:

Apex Systems is seeking a Jr Oracle DBA in support of a Federal client. The position will be working fully onsite in the Alexandria, VA area. If interested, please apply within. #Clearance

Summary:

Position: Jr Oracle DBA

Location: Alexandria, VA area

Contract Length: 6 months contract-to-hire

Schedule: 40 hours - 100% Onsite

Requirements:

3+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience

TS or TS/SCI (preferred) clearance

Experience with installs on Windows or Linux systems

Experience with Oracle Backup monitor and restore, and patching

Description:

How an Oracle DBA will Make an Impact:

• Works with a small team to support applications across a variety of networks to supporting the mission.
• Communicates with the team to overcome challenges in the SDLC
• Works closely with the team to support data usage across multiple environments
• Supports applications in a variety of environments
• Relies on full complement of technical and soft skills to support the mission

Required Experience:

• 3+ years

Required Technical Skills:

• Oracle Backup monitor and restore
• Oracle Database Administration
• Oracle Patching

Security Clearance Level:

• TS/SCI
