Job Summary:

The Head Start Teacher Assistant supports the educational development of preschool-aged children by assisting the Head Start Teacher in daily activities, classroom management, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Supervise and engage children during indoor and outdoor play.
• Help maintain a safe and organized classroom.
• Communicate with parents about children's progress.
• Prepare classroom materials and resources.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; CDA credential preferred.
• Experience with young children in an educational setting.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.
• Passion for early childhood education.
