PARK NATIONAL BANK Compliance Tester II in Newark, Ohio

Description RESPONSIBILITIES #Ll-Hybrid Complete comprehensive periodic regulatory compliance review of processes for all lines of business Lead or participate in related meetings and complete all required documentation that supports the work performed in accordance with compliance testing standards, procedures, and protocols Draft findings, observations and final reports that adequately identify root cause, support conclusions and require minimal editing Maintain organized and complete final compliance testing documentation records in accordance with the established compliance testing standards, procedures and protocols to support the steps taken during compliance testing Complete tracking and retesting of closed/resolved findings to validate the effectiveness of the corrective action taken by the line of business Develop and maintain compliance testing procedures through the review of regulatory updates and line of business policy and/or procedure changes Reviews regulatory updates and bank policies/procedures to determine impact on corporate compliance procedures Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank's compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standards Other duties as assigned COMPETENCIES Interpersonal/Customer Service Skills Written and Verbal Communication Ability to understand and follow directions Adaptable to change Basic Computer Skills Analytical Thinking Able to Multi-Task or Juggle Priorities Ability to build collaborative relationships Ability to work as part of a team EDUCATION - CERTIFICATIONS - WORK EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience in banking compliance required 2-4 years banking compliance experience required Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) preferred SCHEDULE Standard hours will be Monday through Friday, 8a-5p. This position is hourly and full time. A minimum 37.5 hours is required to maintain eligibility for full-time status. Generally the position will require 40 hours per week. A flexible work arrangement is available for this position. The position will require some scheduled onsite hours. Please speak to the hiring manager for more information.
