A Day in the Life of a Transportation Coordinator:

As a Transportation Coordinator you will be an important part of coordinating transportation for individuals, meal deliveries, supervising drivers and ensuring timely fleet maintenance.

• Transports individuals and contract meals on an as needed basis.

• Provides ongoing supervision, coaching and evaluation of drivers.

• Ensures that drivers meet all qualifications

• Ensures accurate recording of drivers' time.

• Provides training to all staff, such as CDL refreshers, securing wheelchairs and the DOT drug and alcohol policy.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

  Who We Are Looking For:

  You have effective time management and organizations skills to function in a quickly changing environment. You're a self-motived person who has two years of transportation and one year of supervisory experience. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.

  You have a valid NYS Commercial Driver License ( CDL ), class B with a passenger ( P ) endorsement that meets Agency Driver standards, or can obtain it within six months of hire.

  Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 5:30 am to 1:30 pm with flexibility based on program needs
