Posting Summary | Applications are invited for a Post-Doctoral Associate position in the Holly Lab (www.hollylab.org) at the Center for Molecular and Behavioral Neuroscience (cmbn.rutgers.edu) at Rutgers University in Newark, NJ. Applicants should have a PhD in Neuroscience, Psychology, or a related field, or expect to defend within six months of applying. The Holly Lab investigates the role of the basal ganglia in stress and goal-directed behaviors. The ideal candidate will have expertise in some combination of rodent behavior, optogenetics, fiber photometry, in vivo or in vitro electrophysiology, fast scan cyclic voltammetry, and/or anatomical techniques. The Post-Doctoral Associate will be expected to lead their own project, intellectually contribute to other ongoing projects in the lab, and provide secondary mentorship to students.
