Posting Summary | Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Manager, Grants & Contracts for NJMS- Office of Research. Under the direction of the Associate Dean for Research is responsible for the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of assigned projects, grants, agreements, contracts and all other restricted accounts and related functions associated with research and sponsored programs activities at Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School. Ensures that both pre and post-award activities comply with Federal, State, University, and Sponsor requirements. Acts as a liaison with other School and University departments. Extensive experience with pre/post award administration and financial management for both clinical and basic science research, ideally in an academic environment. Strong background in financial management of sponsored programs is essential.Among the key duties of this position are the following:
