Minimum Education and Experience | Candidates should be a superb teacher and educator and capable of conducting high quality, innovative research in his/her chosen field of accounting, auditing, and accounting information systems broadly/ defined. A Ph.D. degree from an AACSB -accredited school in the field of accounting or a related discipline is required. Candidates at the Associate Professor or Professor level must have an outstanding research record commensurate with the level of appointment. Teaching load and salary are competitive with research universities. |

The Rutgers Business School offers BS, MBA, Masters of Accountancy and a Ph.D. program with two concentrations , one in accounting and one in accounting and information systems. Special Instructions to Applicants | "The standard teaching load for research active tenure track faculty members is 12 credits per year. "The Accounting department offers courses on both Newark and New Brunswick campuses. Hence, a successful candidate could be required to teach on both campuses. However, the successful candidate may choose a primary office on the campus of his/her choice. |
