Job Summary

As the Production Support Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our development and production environments. You will provide hands-on support, manage changes, oversee releases, and ensure that our systems operate efficiently and effectively to support our business objectives.

Job Description

We are looking for a Production Support Analyst to manage the day-to-day operations of our development and production environments . This position will be full-time and onsite.

Due to our end client, candidates must be eligible to work in the US without a need for sponsorship now or in the future for this position.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide technical support for development and production environments, diagnosing and resolving issues in a timely manner

  • Collaborate with development teams to facilitate smooth deployment of software updates and new features

  • Implement and oversee change management processes, ensuring that changes are properly documented, tested, and approved before deployment

  • Manage the release process, including scheduling, coordination, and communication of releases to minimize impact on ongoing operations

  • Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions to prevent downtime

  • Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures

  • Participate in the creation and testing of disaster recovery plans

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve system stability and performance

  • Provide off-hours support as needed for critical production issues and releases

  • Configure and customize Salesforce instances to meet specific business needs and optimize user experience

  • Analyze data and reporting to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize workflows

  • Guide and train Salesforce admins to reach new levels of expertise

What You’ll Need

Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production support, change management, or a related field

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and release management processes

  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of Salesforce platform, functionality, and best practices

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues

  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitors
