Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a fully competent Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will perform repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, plant blow mold equipment, and facility. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies. You will install, adjust, and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer, and other related equipment, perform mold and neck tooling changes, inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses, and rebuild and replace valves and pumps. Additional duties involve performing preventive maintenance on all related equipment, maintaining machines in optimal processing condition, welding, fabricating, and repairing various machines, and troubleshooting and repairing blow mold, baggers, and support equipment. You may also operate blow mold or injection machines, communicate frequently with other departments, and perform other duties as assigned by management. You will receive instructions on specific job tasks from the Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician or Supervisor, and assistance will be provided on unusual problems. Your work will be reviewed for the application of sound professional judgment.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Newark, Delaware.

Work Environment

Plastic bottle manufacturing plant, non-temperature controlled. Schedule is M-F with occasional weekend work. 2nd shift: 2:00PM-10:30PM.
