JPMorgan Chase Lead Business Systems Analyst- Data in Newark, Delaware

Chase relies on digital marketing as a key strategic channel in driving acquisition, branding, and cross-sell opportunities to millions of customers across a suite of consumer banking products.

As a lead Business System Analyst on the Performance Marketing team, you will be focusing on Data and Analytics you will design and implement data-driven targeting strategies, execute, and optimize campaigns across various marketing channels and collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Technology and Product teams to enhance Marketing messaging. Additionally, you will help establish best practices for data and audience management, ensuring standardization and reusability, and promote a culture of data-driven decision making within the organization. While your role requires deep technical business analysis skills - including expertise in everything from business process management, data management to functional design - it also hinges on project management, teamwork, and leadership.

Job Responsibilities-

  • Develop and implement data management strategies for Marketing Execution

  • Leverage data sourced from various systems of Record (SORs) to refine customer targeting strategies and optimize performance metrics.

  • Drive the adoption of "best practices" to ensure standardization and re-usability or marketing data outputs across the enterprise.

  • Manages the execution, monitoring and quality of each data projects to ensure the seamless execution of message driven audience targeting.

  • Collaborate with the product and technology teams to create and orchestrate comprehensive requirements and plans for product development, omni-channel initiatives, and systems implementation.

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with project work-stream leads, business stakeholders, Technology, Operations, peers, subject matter experts and others.

  • Work with business leadership to clearly define and prioritize project objectives, plan project deliverables, and oversee execution of the overall plan.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills-

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or related field

  • Proven experience in data analytics or customer segmentation

  • Proficiency in tools like SQL, Python, Segment, Excel, Tableau etc.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specs (and ability to boil down complex technical problems so they can be effectively communicated with non-technical business partners)

  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing principles

  • Team player with ability to build strong cross-business relationships.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, manage and articulate clearly to project stakeholders and senior management.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills-

  • Experience within marketing operations and/or the MarTech industry including in associated disciplines and platforms.

  • Proficient in project management and agile related tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA and Confluence.

  • Experience with customer data platforms (CDP) and marketing automation tools (Salesforce, Segment, SAS, Adobe, Microsoft, etc.) is a plus.

  • Experience working with marketing technology agencies, digital agencies, IT consultancies, and/or digital marketing agencies.

  • High energy, solutions oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, working well under pressure with tight deadlines.

  • Strong relationship development and negotiating skills; able to earn respect and trust among internal and external business partners and team members.

  • Experience in leading and managing cross functional teams is a plus.
