Molina Healthcare Coordinator, Physician Service in New York

Job Summary

Provides support to the clinic operations by adding assistance when applicable. Helps ensure satisfaction is achieved for patients.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Scheduling : Managing and coordinating the schedules of physicians to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.

  • Coordinates all functions of the Physician and Clinic on-boarding process.

  • Assists with elements of credentialing

  • Strong Communication Skills : Facilitating communication between physicians, nurses, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and appropriate training coordination if needed.

  • Support: Providing administrative support to physicians, which may include document management, data entry, peer-to-peer scheduling and preparations, coordination of meetings and events and assisting with various project coordination

  • Systems: Strong technology skills including proficiency with Microsoft Suite specifically utilizing Excel (pivot table) and Word

Job Qualifications

Required Education

High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience

2+ years in Medical profession

Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree

Preferred License, Certification, Association

Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) certification or in process
