Discretionary Portfolio Solutions ("DPS") Analysts are client-facing resources who work closely with Portfolio Managers ("PMs") to provide investment coverage to discretionary relationships. The Analyst will gain exposure across the investment platform, including the Chief Investment Office's investment process, managed solutions, risk management, and client investment reviews. Leveraging the Private Bank's outlook, the Analyst partners with the PM to provide recommendations to clients based on their investment objective. The Analyst will build and maintain trusted relationships across the organization, including front office Advisors, Fiduciary Officers, and Solutions team members, to drive a positive client experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare investment review materials for client meetings, partnering with PM to craft the narrative and provide commentary on performance drivers; attend & actively present in client meetings

• Monitor and address portfolio risk, including concentrated positions, asset allocation, and cash levels

• Assist with tactical trade implementation and executing client-driven trade requests

• Present trade proposals to outside co-trustees, articulating investment rationale; work with PM to manage client sensitivities such as tax constraints

• Conduct transition analyses for new business and provide recommendations on investment strategy

• Support DPS leadership with creation of business reviews / strategy presentations

• Monitor the macro environment and stays abreast of the Private Bank's macro views via various forums (Morning Meeting, Global Investment Strategy's outlook)

  • Sound judgment and discretion working with highly confidential information

  • Candidates must be proficient in Excel, Access, and Powerpoint
