Job Duties: Vice President Procurement / Purchasing with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in New York, New York. Liaise with legal teams to draft and negotiate contract terms while ensuring appropriate contract structures, pricing models, vendor incentive models, service level agreements and performance indicators are applied consistently across vendors. Track and report on executed contracts including spend and other trends of strategic vendors to understand impact across the firm. Liaise across business and vendor stakeholders to identify and escalate vendor or client sensitivities, as well as identify commercial and relationship opportunities. Support the Firm’s Vendor Diversity Program by seeking to incorporate small and diverse vendors into our supply chain. Engage in market benchmarking and leverage Professional Services subject matter expertise to influence consultant strategy, drive execution of the sourcing process (including Request For Proposals) and source the most suitable consulting vendor for each engagement in partnership with business stakeholders utilizing Source to Pay technology systems. Conduct project specific and category wide financial analytics to deliver commercial excellence, including analyzing of budgets and bid returns to identify cost saving opportunities and inform negotiation strategy. Support in the management of the Professional Services global sourcing team in virtual meetings and face to face interactions as well as providing oversight for junior members working on sourcing projects. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, such as Hotel and Restaurant Administration. Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Must have five (5) years of experience in the following: strategic sourcing for indirect spend areas in a global financial services organization, including experience with supporting business stakeholders by identifying correct commercial buying channels and utilizing knowledge of procurement best practices to drive process from a sourcing perspective; establishing connections and influencing internal and external stakeholders by leveraging relationship management skills to gain early insight on business needs and advance the sourcing processes through proper operational workflows; conducting project management throughout the sourcing process to deliver projects in a timely manner, including initiation and requirements gathering through to reporting on status and outcomes; reviewing commercial bid returns to evaluate vendors and inform negotiation strategy; and negotiating key commercial terms with vendors and reviewing key contractual provisions to finalize contracts. Must have two (2) years of experience in the following: leading sourcing engagements with strategic vendors in partnership with senior business stakeholders and contributing towards formation of the Professional Services category strategy; assessing vendor proficiency, driving the shortlisting process and negotiating to final award while delivering excellent commercial outcomes, by leveraging understanding of global Professional Services market and vendor capabilities and performing appropriate market analysis and benchmarking; and working with Source to Pay technology systems and their interface with other related systems to help shape their implementation and integration into business activities in support of delivering strategic sourcing use cases.Job Code: 7449259Salary Range: The expected annual base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $141,000 - $275,000.
