Vice President in Equity Capital Markets, HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., New York, NY:

Responsible for originating, structuring and executing equities, equity-linked and strategic equity transactions on behalf of HSBC’s clients. Responsible to work with and support the team in originating and executing transactions covered by the team. Liaise with Global Markets teams in sales, research and trading to deliver capital markets advice to our corporate clients. Manage the day-to-day execution process, liaising both internally with other teams within HSBC as well as with clients and other advisors externally. Interact with the investment banking team, industry sector banking teams, and other capital markets teams in other regions. Work collaboratively with colleagues in the wider ECM, ELCM and SEF businesses, as well as other stakeholders across Global Banking, Commercial Banking and Global Markets.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, Pay range: $226,762 to $235,000 per year.

Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Business or a related field and at least 6 years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience.

Qualifying experience must include at least 5 years of experience in:

  • Financial analysis

  • Preparing pitch materials as well as market and economic updates as part of the origination of equity, and equity-linked and strategic equity products across all industry sectors across the Americas

  • Creating and interpreting financial models

  • Experience in transaction structuring

  • Experience with issuer due diligence on mandated transactions

  • Coordinating roadshow meetings with investors

  • Investor management during marketing

  • Experience with sales, research and trading to deliver capital markets advice to corporate clients

Qualifying experience must include at least 4 years of experience in

:

  • ECM experience

  • Working as part of a multiple deal team for equity capital markets transactions with increasing levels of leadership roles

Must have or be able to obtain FINRA Series 63 and 79 licenses.

Up to 10% domestic travel required.
