Job Description

We’re searching for a Vice President Director, Workfront Architect to help support complex client engagements and lead the development, configuration and delivery of MRM / workflow management solutions built on Adobe Workfront, a key component of our client’s Content Supply Chain. You’ll manage technical costs, resource requirements and project phases for projects you are leading. You’ll define and promote technical and process best practices, standards, and technical strategies within your engineering teams with a strong focus on Adobe technologies. These services include platform and tool recommendations, full-stack software/platform development, data engineering, and cloud managed services.

As a key leader, you will partner with highly talented individuals across Digital Strategy, User Experience, Marketing, Media, Data and Analytics, and Creative to deliver transformative success for our clients. You will also be responsible for the career management for technology team members, as well as shaping the culture of the technology team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the implementation, configuration and integration of Adobe Workfront with related Adobe Experience Cloud solutions such as Adobe Experience Manager (Sites & Assets), Veeva and other MLR platforms, and other channel activation platforms including CRM

  • You’ll also be responsible for developing Workfront recommendations and capabilities to support client engagements, including setting policies, processes, standards, and best practices

  • Strategically planning, coordinating and overseeing process for Workfront within the client engagement

  • Providing leadership and/or guiding the implementation and activation of Workfront; identifying opportunities and providing recommendations for platform optimization through strong understanding of product roadmaps in correlation to client business goals

  • Workfront platform set-up, configuration & integration, and deployment based on business / technical requirements across all platform features, such as, workflow management, planning, reporting and dashboards

  • Staying current on emerging Adobe marketing technologies, best-practices, and trends

  • Defining and producing central engineering documents

  • Adhering to functional and technical requirements

  • Effectively utilizing architecture diagrams, data schemas and use cases

  • Being well-versed in all phases of software engineering and all methodologies for project utilization, including Agile

  • Leading project life cycle maintenance

  • Mentoring designated engineering staff and developing the team’s technical skills

  • Working with other capabilities to provide technical direction and efficiency

  • Proposing and supporting incorporation of new technologies and tools

  • Prototyping new ideas/products for applicability to project goals

  • Helping to review and evaluate technical partnerships and vendor relationships

Qualifications

To qualify, you’ll need:

  • Four-year degree (Computer Science or equivalent preferred) or equivalent work experience

  • 12+ years of work experience within the marketing technology, software or IT space

  • 5+ years of experience with leading multidisciplinary technical teams

  • 5+ years of experience with Adobe Workfront

  • 5+ years Adobe Experience Cloud products (especially AEM, Analytics, and Assets) is a huge plus

  • Recent Adobe certifications required

  • 2-3 years experience integrating martech solutions with Workfront leveraging Workfront Fusion

  • 2-3 years experience integrating Workfront with Veeva Vault, or other MLR platforms

  • Deep expertise with software development processes and conventions

  • Experience in identifying and communicating project and team risks to leadership and clients

  • Experience leading client meetings, presentations, and new business efforts

  • Experience leading multiple simultaneous projects for multiple clients

  • Experience working within multiple project management methodologies, e.g., Scrum and Waterfall

  • Experience integrating with 3rd party services via APIs

  • Experience with standard business software such as Microsoft Office Suite, web browsers, etc; as well as industry-specific tools JIRA, Sketch, Zeplin, CI/CD, automated testing, etc.

  • Familiarity with business operations such as margin, profitability, contract terms, and project burn

  • Experience with marketing technology platforms (e.g. CMS, DAM, CRM, CDP, Analytics, Personalization, etc)

  • Ability and willingness to learn about various marketing technologies and platforms

  • Ability to be flexible and tolerate ambiguity while still operating effectively

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • To be a highly motivated individual with a strong record of professional achievement

  • Creative agency experience a plus

  • Pharmaceutical industry experience a plus

  • Adobe Workfront training and certification a huge plus

  • Candidate must be open to travel as needed

Compensation Range: $130,000-$219,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
