Barclays Services Corp. seeks US Principal Investments Executive in New York, New York (multiple positions available):1. Originate, structure and execute strategic growth equity investments by deploying proprietary capital.2. Specialize in growing technology companies, primarily across financial technology and enterprise software companies.3. Align investments with the medium to long-term objectives of the business.4. Review valuation process, ensuring that inputs and calculations are correct and that there is a robust control environment.5. Pitch growth investment and disposal opportunities to investment committee, perform screening and due diligence, negotiation and structuring terms for direct equity, mezzanine debt and fund investment.6. Drive transactions from origination to closing both through external negotiation working with advisors, as well as interfacing with internal systems, which includes ‘Know Your Customer’ requirements, trading systems and funding.7. Sit on the boards of portfolio companies exercising fiduciary duty and work with and challenge portfolio company management teams.8. Work closely with the management of portfolio companies to drive organic growth, assess bolt-on acquisition opportunities and deliver a meaningful exit.9. Build and maintain strong network with internal stakeholders and business executives to ensure that equity investments align with and drive value for the core business.10. May telecommute.Requirements:1. Employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Finance, or related field and four (4) years of experience in job offered or in a related occupation.2. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Finance, or related field and six (6) years of postbaccalaureate progressive experience in job offered or related field.RATE OF PAY: $173,555 -- $205,000 per year.
