Description
Ads Marketing Decision Science is seeking a Technical Product Manager who is passionate about AI and Data solutions and Digital Ads & Marketing to join our team. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams of technical and non-technical key stakeholders to develop product strategy, define business and product requirements, and work with technical teams to deliver software tools and services to enable numerous devices and services teams to achieve the vision of earth's most customer-centric tech marketing strategy. Key job responsibilities
• Leading team mechanisms such as Sprint Planning, Science Stand-ups, and Monthly Leadership Updates to ensure alignment and progress.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across Amazon Ads and Retail to strengthen partnerships and integrate solutions into broader systems.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation and keeping the team Wiki up to date for streamlined knowledge sharing.
• Supporting science and engineering teams in discovering new data sources, identifying key POCs across Amazon, and removing development and research roadblocks.
A day in the life
Work daily with engineers within a scrum team(s) to provide guidance and drive team mechanisms
Dive deep into areas you're coordinating in order to give technical guidance.
Work with key stakeholders in product management and executive teams to define strategy and requirements.
Lead cross-functional development efforts on new technologies and features, from design to delivery.
Communicate regularly with senior management on status, victories, and risks.
About the team
The Marketing Decision Science team is responsible for the science initiatives under the Marketing Effectiveness and Intelligence (ME&I) org. The ME&I team mission is to deliver personalized, cohesive, and compelling marketing communications across all channels—both Amazon-owned and third-party platforms, by harnessing the power of data science, analytics, and technology. We aim to help both existing and prospective Amazon Ads customers meet their business objectives and uncover growth opportunities. by guiding them through their advertising lifecycle with relevant, personalized content and clear, actionable insights.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of technical product or program management experience
2+ years of software development experience
3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
