Our client, a global Giant in Broadcast Media & Entertainment, is looking to engage an experience Technical Product Manager to join a team involved with designing and implementing an enhanced data-centric platform to support Linear Ad Sales and related metrics.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $62 - $72 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy for Linear Media, Digital, and Data Analytics, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs.

  • Manage the product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on customer feedback, business requirements, and technical feasibility.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and design teams to define and deliver product features, ensuring that requirements are clear, feasible, and aligned with overall objectives.

  • Gather and document product requirements from key stakeholders, translating them into actionable user stories, use cases, and technical specifications for the development team.

  • Oversee day-to-day product development activities, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and ensuring continuous delivery of product updates.

  • Monitor product performance through KPIs and data analytics tools, using insights to drive improvements and enhance the user experience.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to manage and troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring timely resolution of roadblocks and that product timelines are met.

  • Ensure the product meets business needs while maintaining a strong focus on user experience, technical quality, and scalability.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay on top of industry trends, identifying new opportunities to enhance the product offering.

  • Facilitate communication and coordination between various teams, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned on product progress, changes, and priorities.

  • Provide regular product updates to senior leadership, ensuring they have clear visibility into product performance, milestones, and risks.

  • Proactively identify potential risks or issues related to the product and work with relevant teams to mitigate them.

Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, with a specific experience in Broadcast Media industry and solid understanding of Linear Broadcast and the Ad Sales life-cycle

  • Ideal candidate will have proven expertise involving Digital products that deliver Business Intelligence and/or Data Analytics solutions.

  • SQL proficiency (note: will NOT be hands-on development role, but need to be able to navigate through data effectively)

  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, data science) to define, build, and ship successful products in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong technical understanding of data platforms, business intelligence tools, and analytics, along with the ability to translate technical requirements into actionable product features.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams and manage relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Experience with Agile product development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven, customer-centric approach to product management.

  • Passionate about the media and digital industry, including emerging trends in data analytics and BI.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (advanced degrees are a plus).

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
