Robert Half Systems Administrator in New York, New York
Description We are in search of a Systems Administrator to join our team in the Investment Management industry, located in New York. The role involves providing system support, maintaining customer records, and dealing with inquiries. You will also be responsible for monitoring and managing customer accounts.
Responsibilities:
• Expertise in Windows Operating Systems and Office Suite is required to ensure smooth operations.
• Proficiency with conferencing software features and functions, including Teams, Zoom, and multimedia production equipment, is necessary for effective communication.
• Experience in support of 365: Entra ID, Intune, Teams, SharePoint is essential for managing and maintaining our systems.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.
• Awareness and knowledge of cybersecurity threats and best practices are needed to safeguard our systems.
• Experience with maintaining peripheral devices including printers, scanners, and VOIP phones is required for office operations.
• Understanding of networking concepts, equipment, WiFi network management, and basic TCP/IP network will be used to ensure our networks are running efficiently.
• 365 deployment, architecture design, and security assessment skills are required to manage our systems.
• Experience supporting database-driven client/server information systems is necessary for managing our databases.
• Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, Hyper-V, or equivalent, is necessary for managing our virtual systems. Requirements • Proven experience in the investment management or related industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Enterprise necessary
• Familiarity with Windows Server 2019 required
• Proficient in Azure Active Directory
• Strong understanding of system administration concepts and best practices
• Ability to solve complex system problems quickly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• Proven record of maintaining system security
• Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and execution
• Understanding of network architecture and protocols
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
