Reporting to the Head of IR, the SVP will play a crucial role in representing and communicating Moody's business performance and outlook to the investment community. This position requires independent thinking with strong communication and analytical skills, combined with the ability to resolve complex issues in an effective and solution-oriented manner, and the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.The ideal candidate will be able to elevate our storytelling, crafting insightful and impactful earnings-related materials. They will be responsible for creating speeches and presentations on behalf of our senior management, driving better understanding of our evolution and growth strategy.The SVP will drive investor targeting initiatives, identifying prospects, and implementing strategies to broaden our investor and analytical base. They should be familiar with explaining key financial metrics, especially those related to SaaS and software solutions as we continue our ongoing shift to be a more SaaS-based company. And, as a senior member of the IR team, they will help mentor and develop the more junior members of the team.If you are a proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for learning, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.The ideal candidate will have- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field; a CFA is preferred.- At least 12 years of experience in investor relations, and/or equity research preferably in the SaaS or software related space.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data and insights from multiple sources.- A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion, with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.- A proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented approach, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.- A passion for learning and staying abreast of industry trends and developments.For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is$192,500.00-$279,200.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
