Thomson Reuters Holdings Inc. Sr. Sales Specialist - MLF Growth Team in New York, New York
We are looking for talented Sr. Sales Specialists to join our high-performing, double-digit sales growth Mid-Sized Law Firm segment, focused on new business development from current and prospective customers.This new role, part of a brand-new team, will be challenged with proactively searching for leads and generating sales by selling our highest growth opportunity products including Practical Law, Document Intelligence, and CoCounsel.
Practical Law is the legal know-how solution that goes beyond traditional legal research to give lawyers a better starting point. Practical Law was our most successful acquisition, and still has significant growth potential in the Mid-Sized market. Document IntelligencefromThomson Reutersis a new acquisition that makes analyzing contracts and documents easy by leveraging the power of A.I. and the expertise of Practical Law.Additionally, this role will be responsible for driving net new growth selling CoCounsel, which is our newest acquisition and the world's first reliable A.I. Legal Assistant powered by GPT-4.
About the Role:
In this opportunity as a Sr. Sales Specialist, you will
Provide a consultative sales motion to current and prospective law firm executives and attorneys to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual quota targets
Sell transactional and complex, consultative sales to law firms ranging in size from 11 to upward of 200 attorneys
Direct ownership for your defined territory by providing a high degree of prospecting activity to find and build opportunities and demonstrate your assigned products
Utilize complex sales skills to execute and educate prospects to logical decisions, engage in a partnership and buy multiple products including generative AI enabled content solutions and software products in assigned territory
Manage sales cycle from identifying prospects, working with numerous internal teams to coordinate appropriate resources, all the way through closing the deal
Manage relationships of customers post initial sale for upsell
Complete sales, reporting and activities in Salesforce and other sales support tools
About You:
You may be a fit for the Sr. Sales Specialist role if your background includes:
5+ years' experience selling innovative technology, software or content solutions
Bachelor's degree preferred
Record of identifying and closing key prospects to achieve sustained and significant quota requirements
Experience working in a fast paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment
Strong experience with MS Office, Salesforce, sales operations and communication platforms.
