Technology Product Manager role, resides in CTO (Chief Technology Office) organization within Employee Technology and Experiences (ETX) team that enables platform experiences for our workforce to engage the consumers and merchants.

The MarTech team is responsible for the platforms and experiences that drive PayPal Lifecycle Marketing Communication activities touching millions of customers worldwide. Team is on a transformational journey to consolidate and operationalize disparate tools onto an ecosystem that effectively supports Data, Decisioning, Omni-channel Delivery and Measurement capabilities.
We are responsible for ideation, technology assessment, and adhering to Agile Development methodologies from Intake to Deployment for all marketing needs.

Your Way to Impact
As a product manager for Marketing Technology, you will drive strategy, vision, roadmap and own the features of key marketing technologies that will be leveraged for Merchant and Consumer engagement. In this role, you will be accountable for product requirements and will be required to partner with architecture, engineering and critical enabling functions such as privacy, legal, analytics, data science and enterprise data teams to deliver solutions. You will leverage your knowledge of marketing and marketing technology capabilities to evangelize the art of the possible to key stakeholders across Marketing, Product and Sales.
Your Day to Day
- Lead discovery and requirements to establish product vision, success metrics, maturity roadmap, capability and features in support of company and domain OKR's and KPI's.
- Communicates easily from business, technical, customer perspectives and be responsible an inclusive product communication framework.
- Expert in information synthesis, simplify complex topics and present them to peers, stakeholders, management and executives in a concise manner.
- Collaborate with geo distributed teams of platform specialists, product management, operations and engineering.
- Responsible for product backlog grooming, partnering with cross-functional teams (marketing, privacy, legal, analytics, data science, program, architecture, engineering) to enable sprint planning.
- Proven experience in Agile best practices, documenting actionable EPIC's, User Stories with Acceptance criteria and Definition of Done.
- Represents customer passionately in trade-off decisions within domain. Helps simplify customer experiences by eliminating unnecessary features, customization and reducing technical debt.
- Expert in domain and related domains with the ability to assess/drive efficiencies.
- Proactively identify and help remove obstacles by bringing structure and definition to ambiguous challenges leading to trade-off decisions that are trusted by cross-functional team.
- Encourage project team to take personal accountability for product quality. Actively mentors and develops others. Make difficult decisions with resolve by doing the right thing.
What do you need to bring
- Marketing Technology domain experience. Understanding of capabilities, features and platforms related to B2B and B2C omni-channel engagement.
- Own a complex or strategic product within the Marketing Technology domain developing a product strategy and leading project execution.
- Inspire key stakeholders and peers to optimize existing and create new products that add value, are usable and result in material impact for the end users of the product.
- Be an evangelist and drive innovation by identifying new opportunities based on competitive research, technology trends, SaaS platform roadmaps and best practices.
- Hands on experience with Marketing Automation platforms Adobe Experience Platform, Real time CDP, Journey Optimizer, Customer Journey Analytics, and Adobe Target.
- Proficiency with vetting business benefit and driving custom product design to automate execution and compliance guardrails.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience executing tactics to drive backlog prioritization with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is
$96900 to $234300
