TH NYC Restaurant 1, LLC dba Pinch Chinese Sous Chef in New York, New York

Sous Chef (New York, NY) (Multiple Openings): Prepare traditional Shanghai, Jiangxi, and Sichuan style dishes including cold dishes, soups, and pastries as well as Chinese delicacies; Ensuring quality of meals prepared before they are served; Assist in planning and updating menus; Create and pitch to the Executive Chef new, modern recipes based on the fundamentals of Chinese and Shanghai style classics; Ordering ingredients, maintaining inventory of food and supplies and reporting needs to the Executive Chef; Ensuring freshness of ingredients; Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and safety in the kitchen at all times; Cooperating with the floor management about menu knowledge, including tasting. Must have 3 years of experience in the job offered. Salary Offered: $90,605 - $90,705 per year.
