Gemini Space Station seeks Senior Software Engineer in New York, NY.Duties: Design and develop new software products and product features for the digital asset platform of cryptocurrency exchange. Work with Quality Assurance Team to write, implement, and direct automated test codes to ensure the operation of new software product features. Provide input to the planning, design, and requirement process for new software products and product features. Analyze and review codes and test plans to improve the performance, maintainability, and operations of software applications. Review other software engineers’ code for correctness, style, and information security concerns. Engage in refactoring and upgrading projects, and support production software by responding to alert and bug reports.Position based at headquarters and may be assigned to unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. as determined by management. Telecommuting permitted.Requires a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field (or foreign equivalent) and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or software engineering-related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field (or foreign equivalent) and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or software engineering-related occupation.
