DUTIES: Design and build the infrastructure for a global cloud service that comprises hundreds of thousands of MongoDB clusters, processes a billion metrics per day, and replicates tens of billions of databases writes to our backup service. Design, implement, and troubleshoot the monitoring of services that seamlessly spans the globe - including several cloud providers. Become an expert in observability technology, helping us instrument and monitor every aspect of our services. Become an expert in high throughput edge networking, handling billions of requests per day. Improve our infrastructure capabilities, optimizing for cost, simplicity, and maintainability. Must appear in office 3 days per week; Working from home permissible 2 days per week.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in Site Reliability / Production Engineering or in the job offered or related role. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and three (3) years of experience in Site Reliability / Production Engineering or in the job offered or related role.
