Description

American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks Senior Managers, Business Development to lead data extraction and analysis projects from conception to rollout working cross-functionally with Sales & Marketing managers. Guide sales and marketing leaders in reviewing performance and strategic marketing analyses to drive business development decisions. Oversee the launch of strategic growth initiatives and monitor implementation of same. Shepherd senior leaders through analyzing sales and commercial payment data once extracted through machine learning techniques and algorithms. Recommend annual business development goals and incentive changes based on data driven insights. Review communication plan to ensure alignment with established business development goals. Coach and guide cross functional analysts for successful onboarding and upskilling business and technical knowledge, including but not limited to Python, SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau.

Position requires a Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field, and 2 years of experience with data analysis. Experience must include: 1 year of experience with each of the following: performing data analysis to gain organizational insights and identify cost reductions; performing data analysis, AEPM, MS Excel, SAFe (Scale Agile Framework), and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodology; using MS Excel to structure data and generate models and reports; forecasting and statistics, Impact & Risk Assessment, analysis and creation of CBA (Cost Benefit Analysis), financial analysis; vendor management and project management, including large, complex initiatives across multiple locations and involving multiple constituents; working with partners and cross-functional and geographically diverse teams; and technical specifications and technical User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Telecommuting is available up to 2 days per week.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $135,782 - $165,000 annually
