Our streaming video SDK is at the forefront of technology, leveraging modern video codecs, adaptive bitrate streaming, low-latency streaming, and support for live streaming. We ensure seamless playback across various platforms, including web browsers, smart TVs, gaming consoles, and streaming media devices. This compatibility allows us to reach a wide audience and provide exceptional streaming experiences regardless of the device or operating system.

The Video Player Technology team is looking for an exceptional leader to support and develop our international talent base into an adaptable and highly functional team. Join us as we embark on challenging solutions and brainstorm the future of streaming video technology. Your primary focus will be building a team with a great focus on QA practices, mentorship, and organization. Together, we will shape engineering culture, solve process problems, and create an extraordinary environment for simple and impactful habits that bring team dynamics to the next level. By being part of building a premium streaming service we are going to solve the challenge of support for a very wide range of video streaming-capable devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help teams navigate uncertainty, ambiguity and lack of context.

  • Inspire and initiate deliberate actions in the teams to keep the processes and projects in healthy shape.

  • Nurture consistent collaborative practices across the teams.

  • Create cross-team communication opportunities for the teams.

  • Create an environment for forming good habits around communication and QA practices.

  • Manage and mitigate risks in team structure, team-level bandwidth and roadmap.

  • Own product quality and ensure challenges and issues are captured, tracked, organized, and executed.

  • Build an environment where QA knowledge and best practices spread and evolve.

  • 2+ years of experience in technology roles with hands-on scripting experience

  • Demonstrated experience in evaluating technological requirements to make informed and strategic decisions

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while creating order and structure for a team

  • Advanced knowledge in video technology and hardware capabilities

  • Willingness to travel in North America and Europe for work-related activities

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
