Job Information

Publicis Groupe Senior Manager, Groupe Tech & Data Solutions in New York, New York

Company description

Present in over 100 countries and employing nearly 80,000 professionals, Publicis Groupe is the third largest communications group in the world. Publicis Groupe is listed on the Euronext Paris [FR0000130577] and is part of the CAC 40 index. Active across the entire value chain, Publicis Groupe offers its major clients a transversal, unified and fluid model allowing them access to all the Groupe’s tools and expertise around the world through the mantra "The Power of One."

The typical Groupe AOR client generates significant retained revenue while Epsilon PeopleCloud (Discovery+Prospect, collectively known as EPC) at those same clients generates approximately $1.4 MM per year. More broadly Groupe clients without a dedicated EPC license still realize benefits from agency’s “inside” environment. Experience with existing and former clients indicates that lack of hands-on support and ability to point to tangible business results can put future potential growth at risk and put strain on the existing media relationship. In 2025 we view EPC adoption as critical rather than viewed as secondary to the overall media spend.

In fact, when properly sold, scoped and implemented, EPC should be considered a gateway to unlocking increased Groupe & Epsilon digital media activation opportunities, and a pathway to greater relationship “stickiness” as well as additional revenue growth. This is specifically important where clients view the efficacy of adjacent offerings (e.g. DMS, LIFT) in direct relationship with the solution effectiveness of EPC; when EPC is not successful, additional Groupe offerings are viewed as suspect.

As the Groupe continues developing and offering solutions to clients’ business problems through Publicis media, services, and technology (EPC), these capabilities have become inextricably linked. Successful EPC-based execution; specifically delivering superior ROAS to clients through better people-based audience segmentation, 1PD enhancement, audience engagement strategy, and dynamic business use case deployment; is more dependent than ever before on successful integration of technology into agency ways of working. While this function requires a specific skill set and expertise straddling the disciplines of technology enablement and media planning it also serves as a key point of contact for the multiple Groupe organizations dependent on EPC for achieving objectives.

Large AOR Groupe clients’ ways of working and Groupe workflow support needs vary significantly from client to client, so a deep understanding of client nuances is needed for Groupe leadership to appropriately position EPC and Groupe capabilities for creating client value. Client-dedicated Groupe EPC support balances this deep understanding of client nuances with centralized Groupe strategic and tactical guidance to best support Groupe delivery teams across new business opportunities and driving value realization for existing clients.
