About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Data Science Consultant in Channel Marketing Sciences as part of Consumer Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. This enterprise COE team is responsible for driving effectiveness of marketing channels with data enablement, measurement, and optimization insights across owned and paid marketing channels. In this role, you will:

  • Institutionalize and evolve enterprise measurement frameworks and solutions to assess performance of various paid media channels across the business

  • Partner with marketing, technology and external partner teams to develop a robust and reliable data foundation with channel and campaign context, and use that to provide meaningful business insights to grow the marketing channels profitably

  • Act as a subject matter expert and stay curious on evolving marketing technology landscape and drive innovative applications of those in the business.

  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership and marketing partners to develop or influence objectives, plans, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex marketing needs that can be resolved through utilizing data-driven advanced analytical, statistical techniques, algorithms, or models

  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth hypothesis generation and advanced analytics across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions, and coordination of highly complex activities and guidance to others

  • Communicate actionable insights and recommendations using data in a digestible format to a non-technical audience of varying levels, including leadership, across the company

  • Mentor colleagues across locations and provide consultation on data science best practices, methods, and tools to leverage

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of data science experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, or computer science

Desired Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience implementing and utilizing digital analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics), and/or paid media analytics platforms (CDPs, DBM, GSC etc)

  • 7+ years of experience in understanding, defining and quality control of website and app tagging

  • 7+ years of experience in data science expertise building machine learning based marketing models and audiences particularly for digital

  • 7+ years of experience in developing an enterprise marketing analytics measurement framework, channel measurement plans and learning agendas

  • Experience communicating insights and recommendations using data in a digestible format to a non-technical audience of varying levels, including leadership

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$120,400.00 - $287,600.00
