American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) has a stated ambition to become the leading payments and working capital provider for Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) customers. This includes ensuring each customer has access to business-sized purchase capacity, flexible payment options, relevant rewards, and the powerful backing of American Express.

The Lending Treatments team leads the development and ongoing optimization of targeted and broadscale treatments that support small business owners with their spending and lending needs and ultimately drives increased customer engagement with our products.

How will you make an impact in this role?

As the Lending Treatments Senior Analyst, you will play a meaningful role in driving engagement within the SBS portfolio through the development of capabilities and execution of product strategy. Responsibilities

  • Drive the development of new and innovative Lending capabilities across the Proprietary Lending, Co-Brand and Pay Over Time portfolios

  • Work effectively across broader Amex teams to deliver enhanced efficiencies, processes, services and customer experiences (Servicing, Legal, Compliance, Technologies, Marketing, etc.)

  • Support the management of appropriate tracking and reporting to measure product performance

  • Collaborate with Servicing and Technologies to be an expert on Lending Treatments’ features and troubleshoot issues

  • Ensure effective execution and regulatory compliance

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong customer orientation and experience translating customer insights into action

  • Problem solver with the ability to re-envision existing processes to support new product development and product improvements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead out on multiple initiatives

  • Ability to analyze data sets; demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Project management and collaboration skills, including the ability to support concurrent activities across multiple teams

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • General understanding of card and lending economics

Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually bonus benefits
