The anticipated salary range for this role is between $153,000.00 and $196,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.

Role Description

•Working with vendors and engineers to continuously tune and improve the quality of data loss prevention detections.

•Utilizing Data Loss Prevention technology, recommending and testing new policy configurations, and compiling reports for analytics.

•Monitoring and responding to alerts generated from Data Loss Prevention systems and other technologies.

•Working with the Incident Response team to escalate and respond to potential or real threats.

•Serving as a Data Loss Prevention subject matter expert within the organization.

•Collaborating on the Data Loss Prevention rule development lifecycle including policy development, response rules, and maintenance.

Qualifications and Skills

Technology Backgrounds Preferred:

Proofpoint, ObserveIT, CASB, Azure Sentinel, PowerBi, Tableau, Defender DLP, Purview DLP.

Key Skills:

• Strong analysis background

• Report and dashboard creation.

• Crafting KRI, KPG, KPI

• Data Loss Prevention threat hunting

• Data Loss Prevention risk analysis
