ConEdison Section Manager - Manhattan Electric Ops - Environmental Operations in New York, New York
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 8 years related work experience
Preferred Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, EH&S or Project Management
Minimum 8 years in the maintenance and repair of the electrical distribution system
Master's Degree in Engineering, EH&S or Project Management Minimum 6 years in the maintenance and repair of the electrical distribution system
Relevant Work Experience
3- 5 years of supervisory experience. Required
Knowledge of EH&S procedure. Required
Ability to understand and interpret field constructed drawings and layouts. Required
Proven leadership skills to motivate people. Required
Innovative and able to adapt to change. Required
Must be well organized and detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple assignments. Required
Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills. Required
Knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft programs. Required
Field experience and knowledge of electric distribution system, Electric Operation, Construction and underground structures maintenance is preferred. Preferred
3-5 years related technical work experience in Electric Distribution System. Preferred
Licenses And Certfications
- Driver's License Required
Additional Physical Demands
Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
Must be available to respond to emergency conditions when called, be available 24 hours per day, seven days a week, and willing to work a flexible schedule.
