This includes assigning credit for transactions to sales professionals, calculating commission payments, and reporting results. This is achieved by using and maintaining our internal platform/system in conjunction with Salesforce.com CRM system, and by partnering closely with Sales reps and managers.As a member of the Sales Analytics Crediting Team the Sales Analyst is responsible for partnering with the Sales organization and other critical sales support including but not limited to: Sales Operations, Sales Planning and Business Systems,. Territory Management: Working with sales managers to define territory coverage for the sales representatives.. Maintain SPM data files summarizing territory crediting definitions and named account assignments to ensure crediting definitions and assigned accounts are accurate, up-to-date. Action reports to identify gaps between data files and crediting logic to ensure they match the actual territory definition. Liaise with SPM Systems team to enable crediting rule automation to implement the sale team territory assignments and manually implement crediting rule logic when automation is not possible. Case Management: Providing excellent customer service to the sales team, leveraging a case management platform to implement changes and respond to sales team inquiries. Transactional Analysis: Identifying and analysing complex sales orders such as cancellations, adjustments and contract merges booked in Salesforce.com; ensuring each transaction is classified correctly in Salesforce.com for commissions calculation and sales reporting. Data Analysis: To identify patterns, trends, and potential issues. You will also be responsible for preparing reports and presentations to communicate your findings to stakeholders. Data Governance: Partnering with Business Systems team to ensure transaction dataset is accurately reflected in Salesforce.com, which is used to measure subscription sales growth. It also involves maintenance of data hierarchies for account information. We are seeking a detail-focused team player who will uphold and promote consistent crediting processes while partnering closely with the SPM Analyst(s) across regions. Qualifications, experience, and key skills: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in a financial analysis or reporting role. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. Working knowledge of Salesforce.com or comparable CRM platform Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication and highly developed interpersonal skills. Confident interacting with business stakeholders and managing their expectations. Analytical, logical and strategic thinker, able to structure and communicate ideas clearly. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $65,000- $95,250, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
