About the Team:

The Intelligence team is responsible for delivering best-in-class intelligence & insights to support the advertising and commercial ventures for The Wall Street Journal, Barron's, MarketWatch, Mansion Global & Investor's Business Daily. We craft compelling & clear narratives using a combination of secondary research sources, internal data and original proprietary thought leadership research. Team members act as experts in support of our advertising sales efforts & engage with our Sales, Product & Integrated Marketing teams, advertising clients & commercial partners.

About the B2B & Tech Research Analyst role:

We are looking for a full-time research analyst focusing on the business-to-business & tech sectors. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter, curious, analytical, detail-oriented and comfortable using data to develop interesting narratives.

Additionally, you will be expected to develop strong working relationships with key sales leads and our marketing team.

Location: NYC (hybrid schedule 3 days in office per week)

You Are:

• Well-organized and have strong project management skills.
• Interest/experience in the B2B & tech sectors.
• An exceptional communicator, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented, data-driven & statistically minded.
• Able to work independently, demonstrate efficiency and problem-solving skills in completing required tasks.
• Interested in market research, human behaviors and the "why behind the what."
• Timely, professional and know how to deliver against tight deadlines.
• Ideally proficient in MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel as well as Google Sheets, Slides & Adobe Analytics.
• Some background/understanding of the media landscape and survey-based research is desirable.
• Proven ability to work well within a team environment while accomplishing individual projects.

You Have:

• Preferred 1 or more years of experience at an advertising agency or in market/media research.

Pay Range: $40,000 - $160,000
