Beacon Hill Legal's client, a national located in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Litigation Paralegal for a contract to hire onsite role. The ideal candidate will have experience in Real Estate trial litigation, eFiling in state and federal court as well as the ADR and JAMS mediation processes.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, revisions and finalization of correspondence, pleadings (including tables of authorities), court forms, memoranda, and redline comparisons
• Draft and serve discovery documents
• Prepare and send correspondence and/or emails to clients and/or opposing parties
• Assist attorneys with arranging and preparing for depositions, trial preparation and support
• Process invoices, organize files, prepare expense reports
• Arrange for travel, meetings/depositions (in office or out of office); and remote court appearances

Requirements

• 5-7 years of law firm experience at a litigation desk
• Extensive knowledge of Federal and State court electronic filing systems, ADR and JAMS mediation processes
• Knowledge of various court rules on the state and federal levels required
• Minimum typing speed of 70 wpm
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, iTimekeep or similar time entry software
• Advanced proficiency in NetDocs or similar programs
