American Endovascular is looking for a Licensed X-Ray Technician. If you are a motivated and compassionate X-ray Tech that cares about improving patient’s life’s, American Endovascular (AE) is the place for you. We are a growing company with outpatient vascular center in Upper East Side (east 116th st) that treats patients with peripheral artery disease and other vascular complications. Our mission is to prevent amputations improve patients' life and lower overall healthcare costs associated with treating some of the country’s sickest patients. We are looking for dynamic employees who are willing to work in a busy practice helping provide the highest level of care to out patients. Must be team player and

NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS, NO ON CALL. New Grads are welcomed. Will Train, the right candidate.

C-ARM experience a plus. Willing to train the right person. Will also train to scrub into cases.

Responsibilities include:

Working c-arm

Pulling and tracking supplies

Placing and receiving orders

Archiving images

Entering date in EMR system to help develop operative reports

Helping turn room over between cases including Mopping floors, wiping equipment, escorting patients to and from room

Qualifications

  • Certification as a radiologic technologist from an accredited institution

  • National and local license to practice as a radiologic technologist within the state of New York and locality of employment

  • In-depth knowledge of radiology protocols and imaging equipment

  • Ability to work with the general public and provide a high standard of patient care

  • Familiarity with radiology software

  • At least two years of clinical experience as a radiologic technologist

  • BLS certification and ACLS certification

  • Experience working in a similar setting

Two (2) or more years experience as RT.

NYS DOH license is required, ARRT(R).
