McGraw Hill, the leading provider of digital and print educational materials is looking for a Proposal Specialist for our K-12 division to develop responses for local and state request for proposals (RFPs) from the sales organization across the U.S. We are looking for candidates with a background in K-12 educational content and strong project management skills to ensure projects meet critical milestones and deadlines.

This is a remote position open to applicants within the United States.

What you will be doing:

  • Organizing multiple requests for proposals and responses. Collecting data from archives or cross functional teams to develop and write the application or proposal.
  • Writing and completing assigned proposals, collaborating with various departments. Ensuring all submissions are designed to win, completed accurately and thoroughly, following our guidelines, and submitted on time.
  • Utilizing proposal software working with various departments to ensure the most up to date product information for proposal creation.
  • Using departmental tools to manage workflow and suggest improvements. Communicating with stakeholders to secure business and maintain positive relationships.
  • Creating and monitoring a project schedule to ensure all projects stay on task.

We're looking for someone with:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant industry experience
  • Experience in K-12 educational and/or EdTech preferred
  • Experience managing, organizing, and prioritizing multiple projects at once.
  • Demonstrated success achieving service level expectations in a fast-paced environment while meeting critical deadlines.
  • Experience in developing or writing request for proposals (RFPs) and market collateral is preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 2x per year)

The pay range for this position is between $60,000 - $75,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
