ConEdison Project Specialist - HR Absence Management in New York, New York

Required Education/Experience

  • Master's Degree Nursing, Health Policy Administration, Public Health, or Business or four years' experience.

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing, Health Policy Administration, Public Health, or Business. or six years' experience.

Relevant Work Experience

  • Must have at least 4 years' experience managing a team of direct reports. Required

  • Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record systems, Internet software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software. Required

  • Strong written and oral communication skills. Required

  • Clinical or nursing case management experience. Required

  • Strong understanding of FMLA regulations. Preferred

  • Demonstrate an understanding of sick and disability management. Preferred

  • Experience working with union population. Preferred

Skills And Abilities

  • Demonstrated analytical skills

  • Demonstrated customer service skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Performs work independently with minimal supervision

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.

  • Develops and delivers effective presentations

  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities

Licenses And Certfications

  • Driver's License Required

Physical Demands

  • Must sit or stand to answer a phone for entire shift

  • Must sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for entire shift

Additional Physical Demands

  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
