Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience with risk management or compliance in regulated industries (e.g., financial services, public sector, healthcare).

  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.

  • Experience supporting regulatory compliance initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • Experience building or implementing Governance, Risk, and Compliance tools.

  • Experience engaging with regulators to shape technical regulatory requirements impacting the compliance of Google Cloud Products and Services.

  • Experience with product compliance.

  • Ability to get along with team members at all levels and be a catalyst to achieve their goals.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, and will work with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate with cross-functional partners across the company. Projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres, you will coordinate teams and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Cultivate trusted technical and business partnerships across Cloud product teams and stakeholders to identify, assess, and resolve recurring compliance challenges.

  • Partner with Cloud CISO teams on controls across their life-cycle to fulfill regulatory requirements.

  • Engage with engineering and product leads to simplify how compliance requirements are incorporated into cloud products and services.

  • Manage multiple concurrent interactions with geographically disparate teams.

  • Disambiguate regulatory requirements and act as a bridge to the Product and Engineering teams.
