How can you make an impact?

The Product Manager will be an integral part of our budding product team, supporting the roadmap development and execution for product/s in the Undergraduate Medical Education portfolio. They will be leading discovery and development toward product-market fit and work cross-functionally with product design, engineering, content, and marketing to create and launch delightful learning experiences for our users and customers.

As a leader of product, the Product Manager must exemplify best practices in their craft, serve as an advocate for customer-empathetic development, promote teamwork and knowledge sharing, and demonstrate eager collaboration with customers and stakeholders across multiple business functions and business units.

What you will be doing:

  • Continuously looking at the product from the end-user's perspective and driving the complete experience to the best possible outcome for the end user, while meeting the needs of the business.
  • Own, drive, and deliver the product roadmap aligned with business milestones. Partner with Product (Design + Engineering) and Business (Content + Marketing) Triads and support teams to ensure a viable scope is delivered on-time, on-budget, and to the quality and standards of McGraw Hill Digital Product.
  • Partner with multiple business and platform product managers to develop a vision, strategy, and prioritized feature backlog. Resolve ambiguous product requirements to achieve a clear vision that can then be shared with product and/or platform team(s).
  • Develop a shared vision for product(s) through investigation of market demands, user feedback, and competitive analysis. In partnership with the business unit, gather and prioritize product and customer requirements.
  • Track competitive and technological landscape, keeping abreast of new innovations and developments in the market space.
  • Work with stakeholders to collect feedback and requests for features, translate those into working requirements for the engineering partners, and work with the engineering team to ensure that the delivered product is in line with the desired functionality for roadmap milestones.
  • Work with the sales and product marketing to evangelize and explain new products/features to ensure positive impact on revenues and work with ancillary departments across the organization to share the benefits of the release across business units.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of working in Product Management
  • Demonstrated experience with complex SaaS products, bonus if in EdTech, double bonus for familiarity with Medical Education
  • Experience influencing and collaborating across teams and work cultures; must be able to get along with and collaborate effectively with diverse personalities and skill sets and enjoy constructive conflict.
  • Deadline-conscious, results-driven, and high-performing in a high-intensity environment
  • Acute attention to detail, ability to analyze complex systems, and expertise in managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent verbal, written, demo, interpersonal, and organizational communication skills; must be able to communicate with technical teams and Business stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, think-on-your-feet business environment.

The pay range for this position is between $100,000-$120,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
